How a signal booster works
1. Receives the signal. An outdoor antenna picks up the weak voice and 3G/4G data signal from the tower and sends it to the booster.
2. Boosts the signal. The booster amplifies it and acts as a relay between your phones and the tower.
3. Broadcasts the signal. An indoor antenna spreads the stronger signal through the building, and your calls and data travel back to the tower the same way.

All four boost 3G and 4G LTE on the 900, 1800 and 2100 MHz bands (Bands 8, 3 and 1). The A8000 also covers 2600 MHz (Band 7). We confirm the bands your network uses during the survey.

Common questions
Will a booster work if there is no signal at all?
No. A booster strengthens an existing signal, so there must be some usable signal at the outdoor antenna. Our survey checks this before you spend anything on equipment.
Does it work for calls and mobile data?
Yes. These boosters improve voice calls, SMS and 3G/4G LTE data for everyone in the covered area.
Does it boost 5G?
These models boost 3G and 4G LTE. They do not amplify 5G on the 3.5 GHz band. Ask us about 5G-ready options.
Can I buy a cheap booster online instead?
Equipment that is not type-approved by CRAN may not be used in Namibia and can interfere with the mobile network for everyone nearby. We only install approved equipment.
